Look, I think she is great as Ayra in Game of Thrones; however, Ellie needs to be played by a young woman who possesses a fresh face, someone of whom we have not see before, for Ellie is an immaculately-crafted character, and therefore, the character deserves her own face. Maisie Williams is just too popular now. And furthermore, she just doesn't look the part.

Instead of getting an adaptation of Ellie, I fear what we will get is Arya Stark.

I agree. it would be nice if we had a relatively unknown character as Ellie. Plus, I don't think Maisie Williams looks like Ellie from the game.

She is a fresh face. She's done no big movies yet, and only one big TV series.

She doesn't need to look exactly like the game character. The movie is an adaption.

Chloë Moretz would do it for me, I know she's getting popular too but she seems the right choice imo, Maisie doesn't look right for it
