Only in the U.K.

The Guardian raises the question of Norton Fatigue.

I don't think the U.K. deserves Norton. They wouldn't even give him a goddamn BAFTA for Happy Valley 1. Come to America, James!!!!! We don't give a crap that you went to Ampleforth. You'll be judged on your work, not on whether you are posh or not.

This article is ridiculous. When you are as handsome and talented as James, there is no fatigue factor. He's not playing the same character. Tommy Lee is vastly different from Sidney Chambers. It's that British Crab Mentality. I think they resent actors becoming big stars, not to mention sex symbols. That's okay, Brits. You'll always have Stephen Rae to award your BAFTAS to. (No disrespect to Mr. Rae--he's talented)

Every time we have an actor/actress do well over here who are talented enough to be cast in a few projects in the space of a year you will always have people commenting 'He/she is in everything.'
So annoying.

Not sure of your intent, but let me say, if you are tired of JN over there, we will gladly embrace him. There is no 'Norton fatigue' over here.

He's a very good actor. Emotes very well on screen. Tall, handsome, complicated, appealing. Vicar or criminal, we like him.
