Happy Valley
There is something wrong in the series Happy Valley; James Norton, who is obviously an actor on his way, climbing up the star meter and looking very attractive, rebellious and super neatly photogenic and telegenic but . . . he is miscast.
He plays the role very well, he may get some work from it but he is an actor that young actors and 'would be' actors will use as the type of actor they would like to be. The young girls will fall for him but he is playing a rapist; he is playing the lowest of the low; not only a rapist but a rapist who rapes a girl when she is tied up in a chair.
Thank Christ we didn't have to witness that but this character is a vile human being and the producers have made him attractive.
This is bad.
