I'm not sure I'm buying it. In a recent JN red carpet interview on YouTube he quashed the rumor: he has only met Barbara Broccoli (producer) once (socially). Also, reports are that Aidan Turner is going to film Poldark 3 (so he won't be filming Bond), but JN said that after Flatliners filming, he'll return to UK to film Grantchester 3. Wouldn't that prevent him from filming Bond, too?

Tom Hiddleson has ruined his chances, he looks a complete joke sadly, who thought hanging with Taylor Swift was a good idea. James is said to be the front runner.

James Norton is a stunner. He's a very good actor too but he's a different type (for lack of a better word) than the actors previously chosen to portray Bond. James has a natural warmth and a sense of humor, particularly about himself. He doesn't seem arrogant at all.

Can the Bond character work as a nice, slightly self-effacing guy? It would definitely work for me :)

Why not? Tom Hiddleson chance has gone. It's a toss up between James Norton, Aidan Turner and Theo James, we just have to wait and see.

Brennan: Don't forget that James has played Tommy Lee Royce, so he's capable of tamping down his natural charm. All this speculation is....fun.

Whether James gets the Bond role..or not....as long as he doesn't start dating Taylor Swift, his career will be in good shape.
