doubt he'll become bigger than bloom, cause he was kinda like pattinson, but he'll probably be a much better actor

Absolutely, bigger even. He's certainly a better actor than Orlando.

Absolutely not. he is just as boring and wooden as Borelando plus he has that awful tic with half-open mouth as if he`s on a Playboy photoshoot. He was terrible in POTC and SWATH and I`m glad that critics didn`t even remember he was in those movies (no mentions) or few who did stated that he was worthless and useless.

I agree with comparison to Bloom because both of them don`t have an ounce of charisma and acting range, just generic pretty boys. I can`t wait for Claflin to bomb a big budget movie and go away like KoH bombage ended Bloom`s short stint as the leading boy. Claflin has exactly the same trajectory so far, playing bland second banana to bigger stars in big swashbuckler/epic fantasy movies whose success has nothing to do with Claflin but his agent is trying to sell him as the second coming of Errol Flynn. Just like Bloom. Both starred in POTC and Claflin`s role in SWATH is obviously modelled to resemble Legolas (archery). So it`s a low-rent clone. Should be on a Sy Fy movie of the week in 5 years.

I don't know, this is a little harsh I think. I didn't see POTC & I'm not likely to see SWATH, but I did see him in two British mini-series, Pillars of the Earth, and Any Human Heart, and I thought he was great in both. Time will tell, but I'm rooting for him!
