I like her a lot, but the “predictions” on this topic . . .

The most recent prediction about Ella’s glowing future is Six. Years. Old. The future grows out of the present, and her present is fairly mundane. At what point does the miracle happen?

She is lovely. She has talent, acting talent. I currently enjoy her in Showtime’s Yellowjackets (great series) and cheered for her in Sweetbitter and Miss Perigrine’s etc. But she’s, what, 26? Only 4 more years till the 30’s Wall. I’m guessing that either her representation is incompetent or that she does not give a damn. Or both.

I hope this is not another example of Defeat pulled from the jaws of Victory.

She's been in many successful and prestigious films such as Miss Peregrine and Never Let Ge Go. And just last year she had widely-praised performances in two smash-hit shows, Yellowjackets and Arcane, and she will feature heavily in the next season of the latter. Soon she'll be in the TV show based on Army of the Dead, another successful film she was in.
She's having a pretty damn glowing present IMO. I think her representation deserves a raise.

You and I have a different idea of what the word “many” means.

Yellowjackets is a home run, but her character is dead. I loved Sweetbitter, but HBO quickly took it off their On Demand menu, so it’s gone. Miss peregrine’s? Much as I love Eva Green, not so much. All the predictions, driven by lust as they are, fall short, so far. You don’t want to have Ella think of you as being “short,” do you?

She is lovely and she was lovely in ' Belgravia ' (2020) which is a TV mini-series period drama of six episodes. Ella was cast in one of the main roles as Lady Maria Grey.

She has a unique and rather exotic look and I'd be interested to know her ancestry.
