...and could actually act, he'd look a bit like Tom Hughes. Anybody else see the similarity?

Im sorry but these 2 people you have suggested look nothing like him. The first guy was a completely different nose and totally different hair and hair colour for a start!

I don't think they look alike, but I do think they have ALOT of similar expressions and they sound exactly the same =P
Also, I think they're BOTH great actors ;)

Tom Hughes reminds me of a younger, prettier version of Richard Ashcroft, actually... same lips, priminent cheekbones, intense blue eyes, dark features. Watch Richard in 'Bittersweet Symphony' and 'This is Music' videos and you'll see what I mean.

You know I can kinda see the Nicholas holt thing. For the longest time I though he looked just like this kid that I knew that got kicked out of high school. Right down the the hair and Leather jacket in cemetery junction. But now Im starting to think maybe he just has one of those faces that you know you've seen before, but can't quite put your finger on it.
