shareYes, probably there was this scheduling conflict. She's going to be filming in Iceland, so it is impossible to work in both series at the same time.
By the way, I was really afraid of the actress they were going to choose to play Ygritte, but after knowing that Rose had been cast, I can only say that she is just perfect for Ygritte.
This actress is in Downton Abbey AND Game of Thrones, both of which are favorites of mine! She has such a combination of talent and luck, good for her. If she suddenly declares she'll be in the Hobbit I'd probably die of jealousy...

sharejust finished season 2 of GoT, re-watched Downton today and totally recognized her in the first 2 minutes... looked it up here to be sure... I bet there's a lot of people that are fans of both shows!
shareOMG, I know! She was so adorable in Downton Abbey! When I first saw GoT, I kept thinking "that voice! where have I see this actress before?!?" and it took me a while to realize she was in DA. I wish they had kept her on and somehow followed her character through to where she might land a job as a secretary. Ah, spinoff! :)

Kind of funny.. since Iain Glenn was on both series, and his GoT scenes were shot in Moroco and he has more screen time.
