shareI don't think Trump is to blame, for once, it's obviously Putin who "needs breathing room" and to "assimilate Ukraine into his new Soviet Union".
If you could avoid saying that you wrote "an paper", you would have a good start towards impressing him.

None ... but despite all Trump's talk about being friends with Russia and ending NATO - he did nothing to actually make that happen, and in fact knew about this decades long plan to pull Ukraine away from Russia so it could be isolated and exploited. As with everything else, what Trump said was just lies upon lies.
If he wanted peace he would have exposed this and cut the funding, and settled the situation by really implementing the Minsk agreements.
