His English accent is...

Impeccable. I'm American myself, but I can usually spot a faker. I can tell if an actor is really American/Australian/English when they speak.

This guy has the most convincing English accent I've ever heard from an American actor.

Although, after hearing that he lives in England, it's not all that shocking that he can fake it.

Take Christian Bale, for example. His American accent is perfect. But, he's also been living in LA since 1992, so of course he'd be able to fake it. He does it so well that when he uses his natural accent, he sounds a bit like he's faking being English.

Malarkey is the same, except it's to the opposite extreme. He's been in England for so long that when he talks naturally, he sounds like a Brit doing a semi-passable American accent.

His accent is fake ?? I never would've known that !!!

Yea Christian Bale had a pretty good American accent...I also thought James Marsters had a pretty good English accent...even Sharon Osbourne thought it was real when he was on Buffy

related news, nadia his wife keeps him up on it, he cites her as his coach for the accent.

Yeah, I figured when I found out that his wife was English that he probably picks up the accent just by listening to her talk, whether she coaches him or not.

I'm English and came on here to see if he's English. I've lived in the U.S for a few years now but I can't do the accent. My hubby is American and our kids now have an American accent too since moving here, but they can do a fab English accent on command, it's adorable lol they had English accents when they were toddlers living in UK

His wife is Nadine Lewington. His mother is Nadia.

His accent is ok, but as someone from London, I came on here to see where he was from as I thought either transatlantic or aussie. That Lucian from The Originals sounds the same too, and Eelijah.

Same here, MissLolLol - I'm an Aussie/Brit and I thought he was an Aussie till I read his bio. Even knowing his background now, I still think his accent sounds Down Under!
