Of his list, I have not personally seen The Passion of Joan of Arc, Persona, or Andrei Rublev.

That's a pretty artsy list, I'd be curious to know more details on what he finds so inspiring about The Elephant Man, and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

His movies are kinda mid, IMO, but thats a solid list. He has good taste, at least.
