If you watched her in the Lizzie Bennet Diaries, her character is at least 26/27. I never once thought, "hey, she's 22. They couldn't find someone older to play her character." She was great as Jane Bennet & I think she makes a great Emily.

Real age doesn't matter in casting, only apparent age, not saying that she looks older, but she definitely looks like she could be in the 20-30 years old range.
