Hard gainers do exist. But if you put in hard work, improve your diet, you will gain muscle. This is a FACT.
Muscular dystrophy or other genetic diseases you're attempting to refer to are very, very rare. So rare you couldn't even name one. Even the one you claimed you had.
Timothée Chalamet does not have a genetic disorder preventing him from gaining muscle. You are lying.
You seem to be excusing your lack of hard work and blaming it on a "genetic defect" for some reason, then sprinkling gold dust on the turd by associating it with a skinny celebrity. It's the same as people who are overweight claiming they cannot lose weight and calories in, calories out does not work with them because of genetics.

A lot of it has to do with what they're eating too. A beanpole I had dated became a competitive bodybuilder after 3 years of working his butt off. He told me to gain weight he beefed up his carb and calorie consumption then burned it off with running and swimming. He also used a lot of those protein powders and such. He looked fantastic!

Hard gainers, you just need to persist, and check you're doing everything right. You could be doing too much and over training, or not in taking enough protein, or your form is poor.
Your body will adapt eventually, and learn to accept the muscle. Once you get over that hurdle of teaching your body that it is going to change, and you're not going to stop, it will adapt and in future be ready for the same drastic changes. If you've been lazy all your life, then hit the gym, the body needs some time to figure out what's happening and what it should do. Some people get right into it, some are hard gainers.
Unless you're confirmed to have muscular dystrophy, but the chances of that are very, very slim.
You should read the article I linked to above about non-responders. It seems that there is a small portion of the population--who don't have muscular dystrophy--whose bodies just don't adapt to exercise.

Persistence, make sure everything is right, and your body will respond.
In a lot of cases people want fast results, and are looking for serious gains too soon, within a few months, from doing zero body building before that, then call themselves hardgainers. Results are slow. It takes years to build your body without the use of chemicals. Everything has to be perfect and finding out what is perfect for your body takes time to learn also.
Once you hit that perfect spot, the gains will come faster until the next hurdle. After the newbie gains comes the plateau where you hit another dead end. Again persistence, then using your knowledge to perfect even more. Making more adjustments to your form, changing your routines as the body is used to the same old thing you're doing, even weighing your food, increasing protein intake and counting calories.

Not at all? A bit disingenuous. Over what time frame are you taling, 5 weeks or 5 years? Not at all, zero results? The article doesn't even say hardgainers will not make any improvements. Just do your own research. Look up "exercise non-responders" and go from there. That is just one of my articles you will find on the topic.

Like I said above, hard gainers do exist, but sometimes it's not that you're a hard gainer at all, you're looking for results too quickly within weeks or a couple of months and proclaiming that you're a hard gainer. Still failing after the first 6 months your form is poor, your diet is poor, not doing enough, doing too much, blaming a self diagnosed medical problem as you stare at your phone on the bench press with enough weight above you to pump 30 times, and a number of other factors which could slow you down. You need to figure out what is right for your body first. Your body doesn't even know in the early stages, so newbies should just write off the first few months as a learning process for mind and body.
