She'll be absolutely amazing in that role, no doubt! I'm growing impatient! I just want Series Two to come out already! :)

Doesn't surprise me. After seeing how she played Isabella in Robin Hood, the role of "the woman" seems quite fitting.

She just hit the casting jack pot! Hope she makes good on it :)

Definitely going to watch that, although I haven't seen the first series. Have heard good things about the new Sherlock Holmes series. I had to study a few Sherlock Holmes stories in school and I kind of liked 'A Scandal in Belgravia'. Irene Adler is certainly an interesting role for Lara. I'm pleased that she's getting such good television roles since her television debut in 'Robin Hood', IMO she brought energy and interest into an otherwise dismal series 3. :)

She was brilliant in A Scandal in Begravia! I kept wondering where I had seen her before, until I realised that I hadn't (maybe a glimse ages ago on Robin Hood, but I never really followed that); it was her voice - it reminded me forcibly of Eva Green's in Casino Royale. A similar kind of role too... was it perhaps intentional, or does she always talk like that?
