She'd make a great Jane Eyre

She's excellent in War & Peace. And has that ability to let emotion subtly glide across her face. The emotional body blows she takes from her thoughtless, emotionally stunted father (Jim Broadbent as always great) makes you flinch for her.

Agreed. She is a great actress. Subtle and convincing. So glad to see her in a prime role like this, she was my favourite Nancy when trying for the role in 'I'd do anything'. Beautiful emotive voice and ironic she is playing the role of a 'plain' girl in War & Peace when she is in fact very pretty.
