Slumdog Millionaire is a loose retelling of Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities, set in India.

Of the lead actors, Frida Pinto's is the least interesting. Her role in the film is generic at best, there are scores of Bollywood actresses more attractive and talented than she is, so why is she working in Hollywood?

She is not a great actress but I´ve seen a lot worse than her.
Her looks make up for the so so acting.

If it harms none, do what thou wilt.
