I really think that Debby Ryan is possibly one of the worst Disney actresses ever. She can not sing and her lines always sound forced and come out really stupidly. I do not know who is dumb enough to believe that she is a "great" actress, but watching her makes me cringe. I had to stop watching Suite Life because she annoyed me so much and now Disney is pimping her out so much that I find myself staying away from the channel completely. Is there anyone else out there that thinks she sucks?

Agreed. Her acting seems really forced and she tries to hard to sell her character that it comes off as fake. I refuse to watch her show Jessie & based off the commercials Disney Channel is showing constantly, I'm happy with my choice.

Well 4 Million viewers a week like the show (Jessie). As far as her acting in Disney sitcoms, she is directed and coached to act a certain way because the executives at Disney have a formula or pattern they are trying to follow. It is not the same as for Network sitcoms or even other Disney shows which have different patterns, timing, formulas, etc. She was so good at executing their desired style and formula that they gave her the lea in her own Disney show (Jessie) that they built around her. Watch her guest star on Private Practice in November in a dramatic role with meat and depth opposite a series regular network star. If she can shift gears for that and do it well, then she has my vote above so many others that can only do Disney style comedy.

She plays the Disney part exactly the way she is told. It's a stupid kids show. Give her a break. Her movies she had made for the Disney channel have been much better than the Jessie persona.
