David is great as always, i just wished he had a little more screen time.

TBH, I can't wait until George dies so I can finally stop watching this very poor series. Apart from David's, the only character that is remotely interesting is Anne Neville. According to the IMDB profile David is in it for all 10 episodes so I looks like I'll have to cringe through the whole thing.

IMO the three best things about TWQ are:

1. David Oakes, simply perfect as usual.
2. James Frain
3. Faye Marsay

At the moment they are the only reason that I'm still watching, since James has already gone, Faye and David are now the only saving graces of this show.

Just because I have no one to be loyal to, it doesn't mean I don't know what loyalty is.

I saw the first episode recently. Um, not that great. I intend to watch the whole series, though, for David (and James Frain).

Both did a remarkable job. David plays the villian so, so, disturbingly brilliant. Not just in The White Queen, but in The Borgias & Pillars of the Earth aswell. I want to see more of him!! I didn't get a chance to see him perform in the theatre while I was in the UK, so I hope he does more films, he's such an incredible actor.

I concur with the previous posts and yours.
The White Queen is a poor series, and I'm only watching it for David. He's truly sublime at playing villains.

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾

The first episode is very poor compared to the last ones. If you have enough patience, I suggest you keep watching.

I did not like Elizabeth and the King, I didn't like the characters, didn't like the actors. But I really liked David, and also, the guy who played Richard III (Aneurin Barnard). So when the focus shifted to Richard, I thought the series became a lot better.
