what's wrong with my post? it's the truth after all. i'm just clarifying some misinformation here, since some people are claiming that hailee is part african american even though her own rep has already confirmed that she's not. would you rather people continue to believe this false info rather than knowing the truth?

Her brother does look half Black though... just saying. Check that pic of him. The North African part has to be the Black one - doesn't make her African American though, just American.

Yea on seeing picture of brother on facebook site,darker,african?,thought asian sort of more,or mix of both could say.On that african part said in other thread,if north african,then more arab right.Like coming from contries like algeria,tunisia,libya,egypt,morocco.

there are plenty of half asians or even mexicans who can also pass for black, even though they're not. nicole scherzinger, shay mitchell or even jessica alba have been mistaken for being black or part black even though they are of asian, mexican and european ancestry. and there are also plenty of black or african american people who can pass for other ethnicities as well. it's hard to judge what hailee's ancestry is just by looking at her features. plenty of people have also mistaken catherine zeta jones to be half asian even though she is of welsh ancestry.

Well he already looks like he could pass for Arab, so I doubt that he's a 1/4 light skin Arab with a mother who looks white and supposedly a white dad who looks middle eastern - I'd go for 1/4 or 1/8th dark or Black skinned Arab. There are actually Black Algerians, Black Tunisians, Black Libyan, Black Egyptians, and MANY Black Moroccans there who intermix all the time because they are not exactly of a different race, but different shades, features and mixes. Many Arabs and Middle Easterners look like they are part Asian because they tend to have slanted eyes. His sister on the hand, I wouldn't have said oh she looks like she has black ancestry - NOT at all, she just looks white with a TINY bit of Asian (eyes and cheekbones).

I came here to see if she had a brother because i met him last year and he said his sister was in a western movie with Jeff Bridges. He told me his name and now i find out its her... I just wanted to check that she did actually have a brother and he wasn't lying or trying to pick me up. A really nice, slightly dorky/cocky kid.

her mother isn't white, her mother is half filipino although i'm not sure what her other mix is. so if you're going to judge their ethnicities based on their features then you should realize that looking like so and so doesn't make them so and so at all. hailee's mother looks white like you said, but she is more asian than any of her children are, if anyone was to look at her without knowing her background no one would be able to say she was asian at all. hailee and her brother look more ethnic than their mother does even though they are more caucasian than she is, so how can you honestly make a judgement about what their ethnicity is based on their appearance? btw, there are also plenty of people in places like italy, spain, greece or even some eurasian mixes or south americans who could pass for arab.
