Very impressed.

I was not familiar with Charlotte Riley until I saw Easy Virtue recently. I thought she delivered an excellent performance in a somewhat small part: understated, but communicating the character's deep feelings and character effectively. Frankly, I felt she provided a welcome contrast with some of the other performances, which were somewhat stereotyped and over-the-top.

In short, I could relate to and care about her character, Sarah . . . was hard for me to do likewise with the others, except perhaps Colin Firth. (The butler was very funny, however.)

I haven't been able to see this film yet..Hopefully I will soon. Charlotte is a very good actress.

I also enjoyed her character very much. My favorite scene is when she is telling John (Ben Barnes)that she too wants a passionate romance with love letters. Favorite part of the movie.

I don't know, but something about her really captured my attention. I really wish that I would have seen more of her character in the movie.

- Easy Virtue:

I chose to see the movie because the trailer was up-beat and of course Colin Firth.

I have not seen much of Ben Barnes besides Narnia, but very much enjoyed him. And may I say "very cute" in this movie.

BUT BIGGEST SURPRISE: Charlotte Riley, she only had a small part but took the opportunity to make her character stand out and leave an impression. I just loved her character.

ONE THING: Sense both she and John both liked doing similar events and being outdoors, I would have loved to see more of his passionate glances twards her, as he begins to realise that she is who he really wants. And at the end, his confession twards her so that she could see that it is passionate love and not just a best friend for a second choice.

That is my opinion.

Was impressed with an actress playing a fairly small part in an Inspector George Gently episode I watched recently. Then I saw Charlotte's name in the end credits, came here, and I see that I really liked her work on the big screen a couple of years ago.

I hope she gets more prominent parts; I'll be looking for her now.

Just saw her in "Strange & Norell" ... never seen her before, but she made a lasting impression. A really good actress, hope to see more of her.
