She's stunning

I'm one of those people that thinks everyone looks the same. I don't believe in unattractive people, but it takes a lot for me to think someone is particularly stunning. I have picky taste. Every once in a while an actress/actor stands out as above average. Katie is one of those people. I was just at the Alison Brie boards and I really don't get what everyone is raving about! She's truly average looking. At least to me. Katie is much more stunning and I wish her big success in the business

I don't agree, sorry...

When I refer to Merlin, I think Angel Coulby really is an attractive young woman. She has a class, an elegance, a discretion that Katie McGrath doesn't have at all.

I have watched an interview of Miss MacGrath on one of the Merlin DVDs - turning left and right on her chair, playing with her hair, replying to the questions in a laugh every time. If, except for her 'good looks', she has something that makes her interesting, then it's really well hidden.

I don't know the way she plays in other movies, but she was definitely not my favourite in Merlin.

That's perfectly fine. Everyone has different tastes. Angel is certainly pretty I would not disagree with you. Looking at someone's outward appearance is indeed superficial, but as I most likely won't ever get to truly know any celebrities personally I look at some, think they're incredibly pretty and that's it. I have not seen Katie in any interviews. For example, Keira Knighltey, to me, is the prettiest woman on the planet, but she certainly has a foul mouth, but I can't hold it against her because I don't know her.

That is your opinion, Floriane, and you are entitled to it. Just know that EVERYONE on the Merlin board disagreed with you.

Luckily, everyone has a different taste, life would be even more complicated than it already is.
You probably can't really judge a person from just one interview, or even ten interviews. Ok, actually, if the person in question isn't shouting racist paroles, one shouldn't "judge" a person one does not know at all, but that's not the point...

For instance, the behaviour you're describing sounds just like classical symptoms of nervousness or insecurity, which would be understandable for an early interview of an actress on her first real acting job that became a lot more popular than expected.

All i can say is, i've seen some interviews with her over the last few years and even briefly met her back than at comic con, and i honestly like the approachable, funny, more down-to-earth way she appears to be.
