A Princess for Christmas 2

There is indeed a imdb "in-development"-page for A Princess for Christmas 2, so it seems at least someone is thinking about it. There are, however no writers, directors, actors or a release dates listed, which indicates that it's either in a very early stage of development or an idea that is put on ice for now.
I couldn't find any other sources for information either....

Indeed. Then again, Sir Roger Moore isn't exactly getting younger and Katie seems to be quite busy with upcoming movies and tv series. Therefore, it's possible that they would have to replace the main cast. In this case, i can see them making a similiar, but independent movie than a real sequel.

And Sam Heughan is busy with Outlander.

They do do that unfortunately. I've seen a couple of films where they recast the parts in sequels. Some times they work and sometimes they don't. The Prince and Me series is one example. Over the course of the four films, the three lead actors were changed

It would be a shame if Katie, Sam and Roger didn't return

Maybe that's the reason why there is no more information for a sequel. If they can't get at least 2 of the 3 main cast members, i can't really see why they should make a sequel. The plot doesn't necessarily need a sequel and i'm not sure if the title alone would be enough to hope for more viewers. After all, i only got aware of this movie's existenz over the Katie-connection.

Im watching "A Princess for Christmas" right now. I watch it every time it's on, have it on my dvr & have the DVD. You could say I'm a huge fan. I would love to see "A Princess for Christmas 2" made
