Solid performance!

This kid is a great actor, you either have it or you don't, and to me he does. And if you disagree that's fine but I DON'T get all the ignorant comments/reasoning..

I believe in real life he does have mild CP, but he overcame a lot of the noticeable characteristics through therapy, and he 'regresses' for the role with his speech and braces.

I think he is a good actor and acting is an actor's representation of the character, right? Every actor does it to a varying degree for every single role, depending on who they are in fact in real life, they use their experiences, interpretation and research. I think that's exactly what he is doing, and he has a one up on it because he does in fact have plenty of direct experience..

But it's not just that fact that makes him good, he has something about him you can't put your finger on, that's an important quality for a lot of actors to have! His expressions are honest, they seem well played to me, sounds like a keeper!

Sure, maybe he won't fit into most of the cookie cutter Hollywood roles available in big films, but there is such variety today in roles, especially indie movies, I think he would be a dream for a lot of casting agents and unique parts. Then maybe one day who knows what he could portray once he shows his chops more..? He's got the nuance for sure and he is pretty good looking.
