This is a weird show. I tuned in because of the costumes! We'll see about the storyline and the acting.

Agree Totally! I've got my fingers crossed that Reign succeeds, as I would love to see & keep her & the show on TV for a long time!

I remember Adelaide from Power Rangers RPM. She played Tenaya, a villain with a heart, tough, passionate & great in her action scenes (if I remember the actors ALL did those themselves, part of the cult of the show). While it was on it was one of the 2 or 3 can't miss shows for me (& not just for Adelaide & the fun & the action, but for Yellow Ranger Rose McIver & Dr. K Olivia Tennet too). There was some good talent on that show, very well acted & directed, still in my Top-10 Fave & Best programs of the last 5 yrs.

AND, for the record, I HAVE to say: Adelaide Kane, in that Tenaya outfit, was - & still is, imho - THE SEXIEST THING in the HISTORY of television! (I can say thing cuz it wasn't entirely clear if she was human or cyborg.)

And NOW in Reign she's more beautiful & just as sexy, even & especially in those long dresses! And in the interviews I've read she seems genuinely nice & thoughtful in real life, someone I and we can root for.

Fun show, beautiful women for us guys to ogle (Anna Popplewell from Narnia has been a big crush of mine for years, have been waiting for her to return from Oxford, Megan Follows who we all adored in Anne of Green Gable, and extremely pretty Janessa Grant, who's new to me). Handsome guys for the young girls & their moms to squeal over.
Very Gossip Girl-y & PLL-y (though I'm not of that demographic, I lOVE those shows!), and a bit of GamesOfThrones-y & Tudors-y thrown in. I think it's a great formula, the cast & costumes are a joy to behold, and I just hope it's ratings are good enuf to stay on the air a while.

Her character is extremely likable as well. so yay.
