TOMB RAIDER

Why is no one talking about how awesome she would be as the new, rebooted Lara Croft? seriously.

I actually think she might be good for Lara based of new game

Hell yes! She would be great. She definately looks the part and she would be good in an action flick. But such an iconic charector - if she gets the part, her status would just rise, rise, and rise!

She's built like a ballerina. Definitely too slight and delicate to believably kick-ass as Lara Croft.

have you played the latest Tomb Raider game or seen the updated character design? she would be perfect as the rebooted, young Lara Croft

now look at Kaya's body

She could easily pull off the role.

I don't know man, the new Lara may be more slender than the last but she's not petite. Kaya's beautiful, but she's tiny. Angelina may not be much taller, but she worked out pretty hard for the part. You can't pull off a physical role like that convincingly with the muscle mass of a sparrow.

Angelina was playing a totally different Lara, a grown up, mature Lara who was already a badass,

The rebooted Lara is young, inexperienced, immature and nowhere near the character we see Angelina playing. Any kind of training an actor would go through for the role would give them plenty of extra muscle mass, months of training are usually required for physically demanding roles and Kaya isn't THAT tiny, she could bulk up enough for the role no problem :)

When asked about the role Kaya said something like she'd need to train for two years to get her fitness up before she'd even consider the role.

Yeah, Lara's tiny, and she always has been, but she has a lot of lean muscle. If you played the game and watched what she does, you know she would have to keep herself in fantastic physical shape! Days of climbing, running, pulling yourself up onto ledges, and even doing archery; the actress would have to be practically solid muscle to be believable. Not to mention she would have to be very athletic, tough and coordinated, something you can't really teach an actress in training. If Kaya isn't already athletic, and she doesn't really seem like it from what I've seen, she wouldn't be able to handle this role. It's a huge commitment. Plus, I've never really seen her act, but this is going to be an incredibly challenging role, a brilliant young woman fully transitioning from innocent to badass, not something that is easily pulled off.

I'll treat you the same way you treat me... your call. :)

And how long do you think is it going to be before they start filming a new Tomb Raider movie? For extreme scenes they can use stunt doubles, plus she is young and can pout on muscle mas and learn things quickly. The potential bebefits to her carreer as well as money can be enough motivation for the commitment.

She is not unfit for the role. The problem lies elsewhere, they're not going to make a new Tomb Raider movie for a very long time, if ever.
