Could be getting better
Yes he was bad in terminator. But compare that performance to jack teacher or die hard 5. He could be a capable actor a few years from now.
shareI liked him in Terminator. Could it have been better? Sure. But I didn't think it was bad. He's only been on the scene less than five years really. Everything else he did before Jack Reacher in '12 was done in Australia.
People shouldn't be so quick to write him off. He's well-built athletic guy that got quickly type-casted as action film actor. I think there are a few interviews where he said he didn't want to be stuck in the franchises forever. He just needs to find the right script. He doesn't have the luxury to just pick and choose what movie to be in.
