Nobody talks about her anymore

Now that the TF3 is over, nobody even talks about her anymore. After TF1, people talked about Megan for months and months.

Nobody talks about Megan too when it comes to the media or Hollywood.

What i would say is hype doesn't equal career, otherwise, Megan would have been casted in better movies nowadays and people who care would have flocked en masse to the theater to watch her. Instead she isnt followed neither as a model, neither as an actress and doesn't create havock and screams when she is on the street.

Today, trashy and nasty Kim Kardashian is much of a bigger hype, is followed by both the media and the people when ouside and would actually unfortunately attract more people to the theater if she was in a movie than Megan is capable of doing today.

So Megan hype didn't translate itself in real lasting popularity and financial success as an actress. She is not growing, she is regressing and at 25 this is not a good indication for your career path. I said it once in here, she has to do something drastic to change the tide asap cause unlike Rosie, who has a career as a model to fall over, Megan has nothing where she could use her charisma to be the IT again.

Also this girl, Rosie may not be talked about but she is photographed randomnly constantly, more than Megan is these days. So again, her hype must be less vocal but more visual.

I would say that if she does another movie, where she isn't the replacemenrt, it will be considered her movie and then, she'll be able to build in a real fan base of her own as an actress and from it we could determine if she has some recognition and follow up, if her visual hype can be translated into future success.

Until then, hype, is just the occurence of a fluke and it includes megan's hype. Like I said, Kim Kardashian has more hype than Megan and Rosie's combined hypes. Hype doesn't make the actress, talent & professionalism do.

The hard fact is true Rosie has not attained the level of popularity of Megan after TF1. This for various reasons namely, less charisma, replacement which automatically placed her in the uncomfortable position where she is judged not only for her performance, but for her performance against the one of the former IT girl she replaced.

Nonetheless and that's what you ALL ignore neither is Megan at the level she was three years ago.

The reality is as average as Rosie is compared to the former Megan during TF1, she is on the rise compared to what she was pre TF3. On the otherhand, Megan is regressing quickly and constantly from Megan of TF1. If anything, Rosie is in a better position professionaly wise cause her career is on an ascending verge where she has to build in and confirm in another flick. Megan's case is more tricky because she has already confirmed through various movies and she has confirmed that she wasn't in par with the hype. Now she has to fight to RESTORE her credibility a an actress.

Rosie said it best : I'm not here to win a popularity contest. I'm here to work and have a career. Let the haters hate. I'm ready for the criticism.

Good points. You've taken the industry's temperature well. I'm optimistic that both Megan and Rosie, each facing different challenges, with both rally to great and lengthy success.

That's my hope too !

Personnally i rather be in Rosie's shoes cause she is still a virgin in the business with an intact good reputation based on her professionalism on the set, her easiness to work with and her strong will to improve her craft. She is dedidicated and was said to be present each day on the set acknowledging anyone, even when she didn't need to be there with no scene to shoot, just to watch her co stars actingf and learn from them.

Megan's challenges will be more dfficult to achieve and I hope she succeeds. Restoring her credibility, her eputation that has been shattered with rumors of unprofessional behaviour and spoiled brat attitude is more difficult to do in any industry, let alone in Hollywood.

Both have youth as an advantage. But the time is counted for both and both need to be very carefull at chosing the next project where they both needs to show some real improvement wether in acting for both, but also in dedication to the craft and professionalism for Megan who has two battle to lead at the same times : restoring her credibility as an actress and restoring her image within the industry, as a real dedicated professional easy to work with.

Nobody talks about Meryl Streep either, but she is still a million times the actress than either of these two.

I'm rusty on the subject of Megan Fox talk after TF1. Cleary, however, the world is talking about the lovely Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, if a person wants to know that reality :)
Look eye! Always look eye! -- Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita)/The Karate Kid (1984)
Most of the free world enjoys watching Rosie in T3, and many of us love her. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the definition of a natural actress. She performed very well in her first movie, and she continues to shine with integrity. Rosie is disarmingly pretty, and she allows no quarter while being devastatingly hot, but there is more to her extraordinary beauty.

by Biggie-Elz: She was much better as the female lead than Blake Lively was in this summer's Green Lantern, and something about Rosie is more charming than Megan Fox. Megan just puts out this vibe that's really off-putting and harsh, while Rosie comes off as a pretty sweet and grounded girl in interviews, which I believe showed in Carly.
Though I don't find Megan to be off-putting and harsh, it's easy to agree with everything else. The dreamy light that Rosie is sending probably influences my sense of how amazingly beautiful she is, along with her admirable prowess as an actress. Integrity, joy, passion, grace, and other charming impressions should factor into surveying the beauty and the caliber of an artist.

by Ashray: I remembered hearing Bay saying that before hiring her, he asked Speilberg himself to see her during a small acting exercise and to give his opinion. According to Speilberg, he think she has natural raw talent and could improve tremendously if she is focused.
The master filmmakers who put Rosie in her first movie were captured before we in the audience started loving her. With her fine magnetic qualities, Miss Huntington-Whiteley had an extraordinary affect on Mr. Speilberg and Mr. Bay, and the epic gift of their creative vision became that much more enriching for us.

by ZeeXy: Also Michael Bay worked with her before (he's VS regular - lucky bastard :-) so there wasn't much of a luck involved. He had quite a huge number of choices and chose the one he knew would be able to do the job easily and will be a joy to work with. Remember the praises she got from "being nice" and her bewilderment why people considered that to be something special? That translated into much more relaxed and natural character on-screen.
There may be a tendency to underestimate the level of experience that Rosie has with being in character. The photos in the link below are an example of how many different moods photographers ask Rosie to reveal. Since the camera began loving her in 2003, through becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2010, and now with a very successful movie under her wings, Rosie has developed the ability to become these personae we see.

Those of us who sense Rosie's depth of passion have reasoned confidence that her acting range will impressively broaden as she is given more roles. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's professionalism, her talent for being in character, her intelligence, her lovely voice (w/enchanting accent), and the depth of her beauty combine to inform her natural acting ability.

Rosie's complete beauty is only growing with age, and it is feeding her gift as an artist. I see this radiant, not-so-rough diamond, and I'm unable to project my own limitations upon her. Likening Rosie's potential with the artistic achievements of some of my other favorite actresses--Helen Mirren, Rachel Weisz, Cate Blanchett, Samantha Morton, Cameron Diaz, Abbie Cornish, Keira Knightley, Claire Danes, Michelle Monaghan, Emily Blunt, Annette Bening, Vera Farmiga, Claire Forlani, and Meryl Streep (list is hard to end and in no particular order)--I do believe that Rosie is equally capable of transporting audiences, and with as much range.

Tonight, my lady friend and I could go for seeing Rosie in anything from her first romantic comedy, to a period film, or of course more action/adv/sci-fi. We're captured by the high level of performance that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has already shown, and we look forward to seeing much more of her.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley needs a big role to break. After TF3, she needs a feature film that would be a critical or commercial success. Nobody told Marilyn Monroe was set to reach big stardom after All About Eve, and finally became famous a few years later thanks to Niagara and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Yes. Interesting MM reference. I agree and have confidence that the powers of film industry are also cognizant of your point and will want to handle Rosie with strategic care.

The artistic merits of our favorite thespians would be less known if, sooner than later, these performers weren't recognized for their potential to make studios the bigger lettuce.

We who are Rosie fans have reason to hope that--to your point--Rosie is seen as a long term artistically potent, profitable actress--and soon.

Even more subjective are ideas about what genre would most quickly facilitate Rosie's long term success. My girlfriend is a romantic comedy maven, and like others on this board, she would capitalize on Rosie's fun/romantic qualities. I'm leaning toward a period film, as I find that Rosie's most unique gifts come from impressions of her depth. And the humorous spontaneity that Rosie generates would work here too. Abbie Cornish, Keira Knightley, Rosamund Pike, Emily Watson, and Helen Mirren come to mind.

What about you?
