Is it just how she comes across on Haven, or is she just as unwatchable on everything else? Absolutely every moment of the show so far has been unconvincing.
shareI like this girl, but I happen to agree with this one... Her acting on Haven is so monotone and boring...Could she TRY to show some actual feeling? The other cast members are just as dull, though - so it makes me wonder if it's the director forcing these poor actors to be soooooo blah...
shareEmily must be performing Audrey as the directors want her to. The whole atmosphere of Haven seems to be a subdued, dry style with quick humorous comments. All of the townspeople are that way. Perhaps they don't want to risk stirring up the "troubles" ?
As for her acting, we have come across Emily Rose in a variety of roles that we have really enjoyed. Her portrayal of Dr. Tracy Martin on ER was very spunky, smart and outgoing -- cracked us up! She was a 1950s character on Cold Case who was tender and vulnerable. In the Sony Uncharted games she not only does Elenas voice but all of her adventure action through motion capture and is of course quite animated. It will be interesting for us to see how Audrey might open up as she gets used to folks in Haven.
She's great eye candy and that's all that matters.
