Just watched Last airbender, and sorry to say, Nicola Peltz ruined it , well it was cak anyway, but why are hollywood producers determine to put such plain unattractive leads in film's especially when they have no talent. at best she's a 3/10.

shareShe didn't ruin it. Shyamalan ruined it. *All* of the acting is bad, and that's a sign of a bad director. Shyamalan also ruined the story and the story telling, and you can only blame him for that.

shareOpinions like this are part of the reason I feel good about liking that movie despite how badly it was panned by critics. If you think this gorgeous girl is ugly then your opinion of the movie is also suspect. She can act too. Most people just seemed pissed because she's not Asian like her character from the animated version and that's blinding them to how good she was.
shareMan, don't misrepresent reality just to support your opinion. It's all well and good to defend her personally, it's unnecessary and crude to attack her looks, but you know perfectly well that this movie was widely despised by critics, audiences AND fans, and for a variety of reasons.

The older I get the surer I am that usually the more people that hold an opinion the greater the chance is that it's wrong. I've seen much worse movies get praised endlessly by mindless sheep who just follow the crowd. Cases in point--the horrible Lord of the Rings movies by Peter Jackson or nearly anything by George Lucas lately.
