I think they could actually make a difference if their only agenda was to make good movies. Sadly, I don't predict that will be the case.
There are movies with a Right-leaning edge and even star A-list actors like Kelsey Grammar. "An American Carol" is a play on "A Christmas Carol" and the premise has a character modeled after Michael Moore who is out to end celebrating the 4th Of July, so in essence it's attacking liberals and painting them as Anti-American traitors. What's ironic is that Michael Moore was one of the most directly open and vocal opponents of the Iraq War and many of the same Right Wingers who post here were probably calling for Moore's neck for taking that stance until Trump himself openly stated that he opposed the same War, listing the very same reasons as Moore yet look who wasn't vilified. Even today a lot of Right Wing Trump supporters will say that we shouldn't have invaded Iraq but they were all MIA on that subject 18 years ago, but that Michael Moore, oh no...he's a communist, anti-American traitor! LOL
