shareI've always wondered if they submitted her performance in the episode "Stand by Me" to the Emmy's. I know the show would never get nominated but her acting in that scene is absolutely phenomenal. I'm remember watching it live and I was bawling. She really captured Elena's emotions and anger over the past four years. Just a great performance by Nina.

shareWell, sadly CW shows are not really Emmys' cup of tea, although some have been nominated for small categories (like The Originals -TVD's spin-off- for hairstyling). But, truly, Nina should have been considered for a nomination especially for S4 because not only she portrayed both Elena & Katherine good, but also portrayed Elena in different versions very well.
