Well, I think Scarlett's doing a pretty good job as the Black Widow, but certainly Karen would've been a good choice as well.

Are we only talking about the pure physical aspect, they're both "wrong" for the character:

- Scarlett is 5'3" and therefore 4 in. to short, while Karen is 5'11" (acclaimed) so she's actually 4 in. to tall, because in the Marvel Universe, Natasha Romanoff is 5'7"

- Emily Blunt who initially was set to play BW, had the right height with her 5'7" but she had to drop out because of scheduling conflicts, with the filming of "Gulliver's Travels"

I agree. Scar-Jo is very wooden to me as the Widow.

Oh my - why make into a pro red hair contra all other hair colors? Actors/actresses has been coloring their hair for a specific roles for decades, it no biggie!

Jessica Chastain is too old, like it or not, and Karen do not have neither the right height or the right body type. Look at the original drawings of the Black Widow - she voluptuous, with a big bust, a small waist and a biggish butt. Karen is nothing like that - she is tall and slim, and nothing like the Black Widow, except her red hair.

- Scarlett Johansson fits most of those measurements, except her hight. She's 4 in. to short, but that can easily be compensated by camera angles and footwear.

Karen and Kate Mara were my top picks for Black Widow. Too bad they settled for Scarlett Johansson.

When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.

Karen would have been a good choice. The perfect choice though would have been Olga Kurylenko.

She probably would have made a good Black Widow.
