I can't stand it when ppl don't keep their word.

This is just a personal thing, but she was recently booked for the Toronto Comic-Con, and I knew she had cancelled for Friday, that had been confirmed, and I was okay with that.

HOWEVER, she was SUPPOSE to be there Saturday morning, at 10 am. So I go in to buy my admission band, and say "which way to Karen Gillan?", she says "we're still getting updates on the situation"

I said "what situation?"

She says "well, she's running late at the last second because of a schedule change"

I said "how long?"

They say "We expect her here by 6 p.m."

I said "WHAT THE FVCK?" I'm not goin to sit around for 8 HOURS waiting for her when I woke up at dawn just to get there in time for when she was SUPPOSE to be there (and it took several hours just to drive there in the first place just to meet her).

And I don't buy that "last minute filming change" she gave on her twitter. She knew the schedule WELL in advance.

Here's the funny thing though, I'm actually fine with ppl cancelling or scheduelling problems, as long as we get 24 hours notice. You DON'T pull that crap the DAY OF THE EVENT.

I heard from a friend who waited all day that by the time she got there, she was so tired and exhausted, that she didn't smile for a least half the photo-ops (which you have to pay 65 dollars for each). And she was basically in la la land anyway.

Next time either, clear your schedule and be on time for your commitments, or don't come at all and give people at LEAST 24 hourse notice and NOT the day of.

Or, you know, understand that last minute means LAST MINUTE.

I understand your frustration, tho.

What do we want?
Time travel!
When do we want it?
It's irrelevant!

NOTHING on a film set or tv set is last minute (unless someone passes away). Because otherwise it would cost THOUSANDS of dollars to contunue filming, and HBO is NOT exactly known as a MEGA budget studio.

She KNEW what the filming schedule was DAYS in advance, which is fine. I got no problem with that, but TELL the vendors 24 hours IN ADVANCE that you can't make it.

You have to remember too, just how expensive these things are, I manage to avoid photo-op paying, and I made sure (at the LAST MINUTE) to get my admission money back, but I STILL had to pay 32 dollars for parking, and for what NOTHING.

My wife, son, daughter, and I only came to see her. Notice is all I ask (plus as a father I can't stand to see the looks on their faces when Dad has to tell them "Sorry she isn't hear like she was SUPPOSE to be"

Edit: I'll understand totally, as long as at LEAST 24 hours notice is given, otherwise, they deserve no understanding.

You paid 65 notes to have your picture taken? Why?

reply

When the guests come to the event, they offer autographs and photos, and for each, they charge a price, hers was 65.

But my wife and I decided to leave, before we paid for photos THANK GOD. My Son and Daughter really liked Guardians of the Galaxy and they wanted a pic with her, as their parants, my wife and I wanted to get that for them.

But as I said, the whole thing turned into a disaster.

A disaster is a train derailing, a disaster is a bank collapsing.

Not getting to pay 65 notes to have your picture taken with a girl you don't even know is not a disaster.

You are a whiner of the highest order.

Well first off, it was a figure of speech, so take the stick outta ur a$$.

And second, I don't give a sh!t whether I got the pic of her or not, but as a father and husband, my wife and I DO CARE what r son and daughter want.

Ya don't like it, than pi$$ off.

P.S. and ur CLEARLY a Karen Gillan butthurt fanboy of the HIGHEST degree, that thinks in ur mind, if u defend her, than one day u'll get to sleep with her or something, get out fantasy land and come back to reality.

That goes ditto for Margot Robbie and Chloe Moretz too ya pervert.

How can you possibly cast doubt on this important first-world problem!
