Bob Morley/Bob Marley --WHY?!

Why didn't he change his name? I loled so hard when I read his name. I thought it said "Bob Marley" for a second and giggled once I realized I read it wrong.

He's a great actor. The strongest actor in "The 100" series for sure. I'm just worried his name will bring him down. It's hard to take people seriously with names like that. And before you go off on me, it's a proven fact that your name plays a huge role on what type of jobs you get. A person named Richard is most likely to be a CEO of a well made company than some guy named Angel.

I like him though, so I wish him the best never the less.

It's eye catching. That's why.

If you have a bunch of actors to go through, then someone named "Bob Morely" are going to catch your eye way more then someone named say Richard Smith.
So it's a clever move on his side.

It is hilarious, I smile to myself every time I see it on the intro credits.

However, while he might be one of the best of the young actors, many of the older actors - Isiah Washington and Raymond J Barry to name a couple - have much, much better acting chops. I find that most actors don't really hit their apex until their 40's for the most part. Minus a few exceptions here and there of course......

Anyone notice that IMDB lists Bob Morley as having played an actor's role in 'Neighbors', which was aired in 1985? Bob was born in 1984. And the guy he played, a fellow named 'Aiden' was on the football team. Soooooo, perhaps there is another Australian actor named Bob Morley...

If you look closely it´s stated that he was in that series in 2011-2013.

IMBD list the year when the show started airing, in this case 1985.
If you look at his name you see the year or years he was part of it.
