Considering the minor stuff he has done, yeah, I'd consider him new.
And he was pretty awesome. Makes me want to rent Moondance Alexander just to see him.
He's a great actor but in Moondance Alexander he appears about 5 min....I'm waiting for a movie where he will be the main character. Oh..I almost forgot...I love his job in Crossroads...in this movie he appears a lot and made a great job...
