According to Steven Stohn (executive producer of Degrassi: The Next Generation) on his official twitter, he's joined the cast for Season 9.
His Tweet: "Two more new cast members are joining us for the rehearsals today, Annie Clark and Landon Liboiron"

When does the 9th season air?

No word yet but filming has started. I'm assuming it'll air this fall.
