That is the oddest hook up..me thinks. Just how far will that go?

I don't think it will go anywhere. Declan was just the subject of her erotic dreams. I don't even think Clare is attracted to him, just the idea of him being a vampire. Their little interaction seems pretty resolved to me, I don't think their episode was meant to introduce them as a future couple or anything, just that Clare is struggling with her budding sexuality.

But that would have been a story..if something had happened. I wanted him to still be a little bit of a player. Perhaps not as horrible as Jay could be..but you know..kind of a shake up. I guess.
