She would've been a perfect book version of Elena if they had gone that route, especially if she had her long hair like on H20. Loved seeing her on PLL too. I like her much more than Klaus who I am SO sick of.

I actually hated Elena for at least 30 seconds when she staked her in the most recent ep.

Really hope she returns somehow, though I doubt she'll ever become a major player.

I did too but I always hate Elena so that's nothing new. I'm sure that's not the last of her but I really think they'd be smart to upgrade her to regular status. She's far more interesting than Katherine is anymore and even Caroline is losing her appeal. I doubt she'll ever been a major character but I really think she should be.

I love Claire Holt as Rebekah,
her character is such a fresh, exciting addition to the show. She's funny, a character you can empathise with and her whole "lie detection" thing is pretty damn cool!

I believe they confirmed she would be coming back but didn't say when. :) I am LOVING her. As much as I love Katherine, and Caroline, she is fresh and new as another commentor said.
