Because he's a good looking, young and can act, and he's American. It seems to me unless you're over 40, American men are snubbed in favor for British or Australian men.

so you think these reasons are enough to make him the next big star? he doesn't have the charisma and the talent for that.

Obviously that I listed them and said I liked his acting I think so.

I don't know.. Directors are going to have second thoughts about him after the huge disaster that is the Lone Ranger. This is not his first offense... this is like his third.... and on top of that he's married... He is in the prime of his career and young and he gets married .. how can girls/guys like dream about him being theirs if he is married...?? seriously... , Can you imagine Leo Dicaprio getting married at the height of his career?

It doesn't work like that, if directors only hired actors that have been in hit films , they be way less films out LOL! True its his third flop but its not down to him, he wasn't the leading star in J.edgar or Mirror or The Lone Ranger either.
Think his true leading man status will be tested with Man fron Uncle, which he costars with Henry Cavill, his leading man status will be tested as well to see if he can lead other films without being superman.

He got married cause he fell in love, simple as!

TO me its a bit sad to see Leo Dicaprio or Clooney updating their girlfriends every few months to the latest twenty something waitress/model/wannbe actress when they're in their 40's and 50's.
