Not trying to be harsh but...

How has he obtained the level of getting his name above the 'Lone Ranger' title on all the posters and billboards?

He had a tiny unremarkable part in the Social Network (the rising star everybody remembers from that film is Andrew Garfield) and was in that Mirror, Mirror film that no one goes on about (it was hardly 'Twilight' huge).

So, how does he get his name alongside Johnny Depp on every piece of promotional item I see? He's still (lets face it) pretty much a nobody, right?

Obviously I must be wrong...

Money talks. This guy would be waiting on tables if his last name wasn't "hammer"

You are being harsh, brucey boy.

Armie plays the title role, hence his name is suppose to be above the "Long Ranger" title.

His role in The Social Network was significant to the story, especially because the real Winklevoss twins were making the headlines before, during and after the film was released. Also, you left out his work on "J. Edgar" which left a big impression on the movie business folks as a serious actor with tremendous potential.

Armie is only just beginning to be recognized by the general public. "Lone Ranger" is his debut into lead actor status for a major motion picture.

LOL, says his agent.

I think Armie's flaw is his deep voice. Its hard to understand and he almost doesn't even sound like anywhere in America. I think he could be successful headlining a TV series for a couple of years. But I don't think he's ready for any Oscar-worthy performances yet, maybe in 20 years.

His voice is nowhere near flawed. I could listen to him talk all night. He's extremely easy on the eyes as well.
