His style of making movies and Rogue One

Now I totally understand, why he lost full control about Rogue One. Monsters, Godzilla and now The Creator are visually impressive and feel like they want to be more as just a nice flick (pretentious). All movies have a wonderful build up and show a fantastic interesting world, but boy, even Michael Bay is capable of keeping his world better believable. But most of his mistakes are fixable with a proper Script Doctor and a willing director. That's why I think Rogue One got such a good reception. Because most of his common issues got fixed in post, keeping him on the side line.
I doubt, I will watch another of his movies in the cinema, also when not per se being disappointed watching them, I can't say he is making good movies. But he is a great visionary.
