Initially, the show OITNB focused on her, but now the other characters have outshined her by a longshot. We're like...Piper, who??? I've never seen that happen on a show before. Just a thought.

It made the show so much better. Her character is the worst part of the show. I read the book and the first season seemed to follow it pretty closely but I'm glad they steered away. She's boring, arrogant and naive.
It did hurt the show quite a bit. S3 was a trainwreck cause of that
