Miles Morales

That's what I always thought when people said "I don't want no black spiderman!"

Miles is the Spiderman that people are talking about when they say that they want to see Donald as Spiderman. I won't lie, Peter Parker's name has become synonymous with Spiderman but the stories with Miles as Spiderman has more than proved that he is deserving of the Spiderman title too. To me that is the main reason why some people (mainly whiny white fanboys) are saying they don't want Donald to play Spiderman in a movie, cause a movie would just further cement that Spiderman isn't just some white kid named Peter but he is also a half black, half latino kid named Miles Morales.

Yeah my only problem with Donald being Miles if they ever made a movie with him is that Donald is far too old to be able to make a faithful adaptation of that series

I also feel that at this point Donald is a bit too old for the role, but if it somehow happened I'd still want to show my support.

For sure he's awesome :) I think he would be awesome as a superhero although which specific one im not quite sure of.

Too old? Uh, Andrew Garfield (the current Spiderman) was almost 30 himself when he got the role--meaning he and Glover are practically the same age. And,frankly, Glover barely looks past 25, he certainly looks young enough to pull it off---actors over 25 play teens ALL the time---nothing new or weird about it.

If I'm not mistaken Morales is only 13 in the comic so it is an issue but they could very well choose to make him parker's age. I do really think it's Glover's role. He's the entire reason Miles Morales exists, he's based on Donald Glover. Seing him in Spidey PJs on community inspired the writers to create the character.
