I bet his parents won't even talk to him.
...and I wish he would talk about it. Shed some light on the extra horrible religion that is Jehovah Witnesses (JWs). If he was baptized he would have been disfellowshipped (DFed) for being "worldly". If he was DFed he would be considered an apostate and any JW, including family, that even talks with him risks being DFed themselves. Even if he wasn't baptized his family would be pressured to not have any contact with him. I know dozens of ex JWs whose parents won't talk to them or even meet their own grandkids. It is so messed up and hardly anyone knows about it. Then of course there is the rampant physical, sexual, and spiritual abuse that makes the Catholic Church look innocent by comparison.
