I love this guy. Not every guy with brown eyes and a skinny body and long dark hair is immediately a Depp clone. At least he isn't a midget like Depp. He can't help that he is blessed with amazingly beautiful good looks. He also looks a lot older with facial hair. His name also sounds like a company for bottled water. His name makes me thirsty

I agree, just because they have the same style doesn't mean he's trying to imitate Johnny Depp. People say the same thing about Tyler Blackburn. More than one guy can have that look.

And being that I'm old enough to have watched Johnny start out on 21 Jump Street, then watched his career go on from there, I definitely disagree with you; but I'm using logic & experience, not an emotional, knee-jerk reaction. He looks nothing like Depp! Avan looks more like he's of a Middle Eastern heritage than anything else.
The guy has long hair, he likes to wear it neatly up in a pony-tail, & he likes to wear black. If that's the criteria your using to judge him, then come here, because I can show you about 20-25 different guys who are DEFINITELY trying to imitate Depp!!

Depps style isn't original, yes he's made it his but its still just quasi bohemian hipster style. A lot of people look that way.

I'm still saying that he's not trying to be Depp. There is so much about Depp other than his clothes that make him and his style his. Still the base look is wore by a lot of people.
