15-20 million paycheck for red sparrow
Like her sci go movie, she is single handily putting these films in the red then not delivering.
She’s a flop machine

She’s a flop machine
This isn't a surprise..if she want to stay top ...she has to keep making movies like american hustle...Oscar movies with wide appeal.
shareAgreed, but how can she?
-the other stars carried that film
-the other stars maintained character and accents throughout the film. She could t even keep her easy easy Rhode Island accent in one ten second shot. She said “there was a fiyah earl (strong accent), I couldn’t put out the fire earl (back to normal Jennifer accent).
-her character, summed up in the dance scene, was a gimmick..
Hence why she doesn’t get many serious roles. And when she does, she normally fails
to some extent her oscars were partly due to her hotness and charm academy voters which is creepy if you think about it.These are 60 yr old men who has to like her and I dont even wanna know how she does it.I still think she has some tank left in her.60 million movie making 102 million isnt a bomb, its a disappointment.
shareIt still hasn’t broke even.
It was 69 million budget. Studio gets 40% of sales. And that budget doesn’t include advertising. It’s a flop/bomb although yes not a. Nuclear bomb
lol in what universe would a studio or any company incur 100% of the cost and just get 40% profits?
shareIn the real world.. where anyone can verify what cut studios take back?
Yes they take a lot of risk, but deep the gainz.
And theatres can take risk too by my being forced to carry crap movies that no one wants. Taking a loss they have to run a crapfest film no one wants to see.
doesn't mean the studios are going to take just 40 percent.

“So a studio might make about 60% of a film's ticket sales in the U.S., and around 20% to 40% than that on overseas ticket sales.
The percentage of revenues an exhibitor gets depends on the contract for each film. Many contracts are intended to help a theater hedge against films that flop at the box office by giving theaters a larger cut of ticket sales”
Literally every article you will ever read confirmed this.
Stop being a lazy turd like you are and do research before you open your fat mouth
