I agree, every character she has played so far has been the same. She has no range whatsoever

In her defense casting agents probably hire her specifically for her demeanor. It's working for her though. She would probably have to do an independent to show her range...if she is interested. Maybe she is happy this way.

She has done some things that go outside of her normal type of character. Watch About Alex and Life After Beth. Those are both good examples of dramatic and comedic acting without using deadpan. Her characters in those movies are relatively normal compared to her other ones.
