Does she ever act in serious roles?

Life Without Beth was much more serious than the trailer suggests.

She played an assassin on criminal minds this season

Ned Rifle and Safety Not Guaranteed I recommend as well

Safety Not Guaranteed was a comedic role but with a lot of dramatic layers to it, she shows a lot of range. Also she has this new X-Men project which sounds pretty dramatic.

She should be on a hardcore serious role someday.

I don't think so, her and her 2009 dry humor seem to be all she has going, yea she's a pretty girl.. but god awful actress... just pathetic, makes me want to shoot myself in the head every time I see her and her lame jokes, no matter what show or movie it's in... it doesn't even matter at that point, she ruins whatever you're watching

She was dreadful in criminal minds. Should steer clear of serious acting

She's in some Indy drama movies. About Alex is one I've seen, her role was different than the characters she usually plays.
