He's not only referring to anorexia but implying that she might've gone through chemotherapy or something. You know... when you go into chemo, you lose your appetite and get extremely malnourished and skinny?
BTW, 70% of high school girls DON'T suffer from anorexia. Where did you get this information? Granted, different areas will produce different numbers but your statistics would imply that more than 7 out of 10 girls are plagued with eating disorder whether it is anorexia, bulimia, or excessive eating disorder. This isn't true. If you were hanging out with a group of friends and there were 10 girls, then 7 of them as you suggested are probably in severe affliction of eating disorder.
In these statistics, girls (since it's usually anonymous) say they have an eating disorder for no reason. Of course, there are definitely those who do suffer from it and we can't ignore it when people DO claim it. Even still, it usually turns out the girl is just seeking attention. I do not remember 70%, nor remotely close to 30% of the girls in my high schools being skinny or overweight at all. Just fit and healthy.
The closest thing that would be an "eating disorder" for majority of these girls are that they won't eat like they want to when they are on a date.

Back on point, at least she's not dangerously skinny. I've seen skinnier girls that may have their shoulders jut out and they eat like gluttons. After all, she's a public figure. No one cares about anorexic high school girls because adults will think they are attention whores. A celebrity strays off, then the whole world will care.
