Awesome Alpha wanna-be in New Girl

I like the character, because what I see is kindof a pathetic person who wants things, knows he'll be bad or will get hurt or something.. and goes for them anyway. He fails.. And I roll over busting a gut laughing.

The fears and slapstick are cosmetic and fun, but they just add to the base that makes the show.

Its also great because the personality type works with a girly wanna be Jess without being feminine. Obviously a real alpha would not work. He gets to be agressive and funny but have no power which allows Jess to be funny.

Basically a common man (read: no special powers or personality) hero, but placed in a comedy setting -- it really works..

So much so that I immediately looked up his other roles and ended up watching No Strings Attached; something I thought I wouldn't do ;).
